I knew someone who was growing his own marijuana. He grew a very good strain of marijuana, but the problem was that he had a small little growing area, and insufficient lighting. On top of these problems, once the plants finally did bud, rather than harvesting them properly, he quickly smoked them.
I believe you are supposed to stop watering your plants about 2 days before you cut them down. I don't think he had done this. Also there are some procedures to take when harvesting, I don't think he did that either.
So here's what happened. He sold me a $35 gram of his weed, but since it wasn't really dry, I had to wait for it to dry, and once it dried it was a $35 piece of shit. The weed did get us a little high, but it was a bowls worth by now.
Plus it didn't taste good like it should have. Be sure to read up on what you should do when its time to harvest.
