Oklahoma Q&A's on Medical Marijuana Cards

Where do I go to find a doctor for the approval? I have no clue where to start.

Omma.ok.gov offers a list of licensed service providers and a great place to begin your search.

I read that if you are waiting for your medical card in the mail a dispensary can just look you up in the state database to verify you are approved. Is this true? I know it doesn't take too long, but I don't want to wait if I don't have too!

Unfortunately, that is not true. It is a state requirement you must have your physical card to purchase from a licensed dispensary.

Can I buy product without a prescription & what is the best choice for chronic back pain?

No, you need a valid Oklahoma patient card to purchase products. There are CBD products that can be purchased without a card. There ares several strains for pain. There are very few that don't help pain, such as Heavy Sativas or Indicas, which are noted for pain relief.

Can patients from Arkansas travel home with marijuana products purchased at your business?

That's a good question, and the answer is NO. It's still illegal federally, so you can't cross state lines.

Do you have to have a medical card or prescription?

For THC products, yes....for CBD products, no.

New to the whole industry, main question is I want to try sativa and indica both, how much does a fair amount cost and last? I have insomnia and embarrassing to say need a boost in my sex drive.

I would try an 8th of each indica and sativa, but each screen has a different effect on the body even each different sativa, so u need to find the best sativa and indica for you.. I would try a hybred also...maybe White Widow.

Is a medical card required upon entry?

Only at the time of purchase.

Social media is an aspect of digital marketing, but it’s a powerful enough channel that it deserves its own set of considerations. Because many social media platforms prohibit paid cannabis advertising due to the substance’s Schedule I designation and federal illegality, your business may need to get creative and persistent with organic tactics. Don’t be deterred, though — the landscape is continuing to shift as the industry grows, so marketing opportunities will likely get better once these platforms become more comfortable with changing laws. In the meantime, we've discovered this amazing platform, as a value added resource to share our messaging and hope you'll join us here.

A new dispensary opened up in Maryland. They even have a bank that will work with them, though it's not FDIC insured which is kind of a pain but I guess it's better than nothing
